Information about our website, salon appointments and online learning.

1. About these terms

These terms cover the use of lcmhairstudios.com, appointments with LCM Hair Studios and online academy purchases where offered. Our studio is at 633 Saffron Lane, Aylestone, Leicester LE2 6UN. Contact bookings@lcmhairstudios.com or 07732 037629 with questions. Please read the information for your selected service or course before booking or purchasing. Nothing in these terms limits a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. Service descriptions and prices

Current services, appointment durations, prices and availability are shown in the relevant booking or purchase process. Review the total charge, currency, any deposit and any clearly disclosed additional costs before confirming. Estimates may depend on hair length, density, condition or the work requested; any change to the agreed service or price should be discussed before the additional work begins. Optional extras require your agreement.

3. Appointments and consultations

Provide accurate contact and booking information so we can confirm your appointment and contact you about changes. An appointment is confirmed through the booking confirmation or direct studio confirmation. Tell us about relevant hair history and follow any preparation instructions supplied for your service. A consultation helps establish what is suitable and achievable; photographs are a guide rather than a promise of an identical result. A parent or guardian should arrange appointments for children and discuss any attendance requirements with the studio.

4. Changes, cancellations and late arrival

If you need to change or cancel an appointment, contact the studio as soon as possible using your booking details. Any deposit, notice period or cancellation charge must be clearly communicated before booking and applied fairly, subject to your statutory rights. This page does not introduce a separate cancellation fee. If you arrive late, we may need to discuss an adjusted service or an alternative appointment, depending on the remaining time. If we cancel, we will discuss a replacement appointment or an appropriate refund for the affected service.

5. Your salon experience

We aim to provide services with reasonable care and skill. Tell us promptly if something is unclear or you have a concern, so we can discuss it with you. Results depend on factors such as hair condition, previous treatment and the agreed service. We may decline or postpone a treatment where it is unsuitable or where safe delivery is not possible. Hair-care advice and course materials are educational and do not replace medical advice for a scalp or health concern.

6. Online courses and accounts

Check the course description for its syllabus, access period, included support, technical requirements and any assessment or completion conditions. No qualification, accreditation, employment outcome or lifetime access is promised unless it is expressly included in the course description. Keep your account credentials private. Access is intended for the enrolled learner; do not share access, redistribute materials or resell course content without permission. Contact us if an access problem prevents you using a purchased course.

7. Digital content and cancellation rights

Where a statutory cooling-off period applies to a digital purchase, you retain that right unless the legal conditions for ending it have been met. Immediate supply of digital content requires your express agreement and acknowledgement of the effect on cancellation rights, together with the required confirmation. Signing in or paying alone does not automatically remove those rights. Please see our Return Policy for cancellation requests and remedies where content is faulty or not as described.

8. Website use and intellectual property

Use the website lawfully and do not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, submit malicious content or misuse another person’s account. Website text, branding, images and learning materials remain protected by the rights of their respective owners. You may use purchased learning materials for your personal learning as permitted by the course terms; copying or commercial redistribution requires authorisation.

9. Privacy and external services

Our Privacy Policy explains how information relating to enquiries, appointments and accounts is handled. Booking, payments or other website features may involve external providers with their own terms and notices. Review those where they apply. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and do not make their content part of these terms.

10. Problems, liability and applicable law

Contact the studio with your name, booking or order reference and a description of the concern. We will review the information and discuss an appropriate resolution. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, while preserving any mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring proceedings that apply where you live.

11. Changes and related policies

The version supplied with your booking or purchase governs that transaction, subject to any lawful change agreed with you. Website terms may be updated for future transactions. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Return Policy. If the information for your specific service is unclear, ask the studio before confirming.
